Having a Giveaway and some news!!

Hi Friends! :)
Hope your week is going well!!

I am having a great giveaway over at my new shop Wee-Design!
Just for tweeting, facebooking, or blogging about my new shop you can enter and have two chances to win a prize... go check it out!! And I would love if you would follow me over there!

Also just want to share this card I did for St. Patrick's Day that was featured on CARDS CREATE blog today ... everyone loved my other shamrock twine card so I thought I would make another one and they are so fun to make!!

On this one I made 2 small shamrocks using Peapod Twine from The Twinery! I just love the green! I used Glossy accents to make the shape of the shamrock and to glue the twine. I stamped the Raindrop Stamp from Hero Arts and stitched the white cardstock to it. Then I made a sentiment using Harold's ABC's from Lawn Fawn.

My previous card I did above, Oceans of Love, was featured on the Hero Arts Social Club today!!

And in other news:

My dear friend Kim released a SUPER cute set today - Gnomebody Like You ... ADORABLE!!

DT Members Laurel S. and Stephanie got cards picked up by CARDS magazine! Congrats!

DT Members Giovana, Laurel S. and Vera got cards picked up for Papercrafts Magazine! YAY!

Something CUTE to share YAY! :)

Papercrafting is therapeutic to me. It completely clears my mind. And when im stressed I like to stay really busy, I also cant sleep very well either. I've been working on some secret projects last night and tonight that will go live here Friday... I cant wait to share them with you.

Im finally able to have some time in my craft room and get some things done. I really missed crafting for the past few days. I hope to be doing more this weekend, staying here on the homefront with my daughter. The hospital isnt a place for her to be and we dont want her to see her Papa in such bad shape.

Now on to the cuteness. Just thought I would take a break and craft a card for CARDS magazine challenge - Windows. Had some fun making this card. Did more paper piecing in this one... love it. And I love the Bitty Dot Basics paper stack from PTI.

Side view to see its a bay window :)
Stamps: Hero Arts
Paper: PTI bitty dot basics, kraft, white, hawaiian shores
Other: PTI cloud die, ribbon

Again I wanted to say Thank you to all you dear friends for all the prayers. I appreciate them so much. And I appreciate your understanding that I haven't had time to visit you. I also will be sending out prizes that need to be mailed off on Monday when I return to work, I ship from work. And I will be getting back to doing my DT posts, I missed a couple this week. Im also working on some blog re-designs for some friends so that I also need to get done. Well, I think I have enough to keep me busy and my mind off of things.

Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday! Im going to try and get around to visit. Dont forget Friday is the last day to enter the current challenge... guess everyone doesn't do paper piecing lol.

Blessings to you!

Bo Bunny Challenge and Cards blog Challenge

Here is a couple of cards I did this weekend. First one is for the Bo Bunny Card Challenge Tuesdays, I love their challenges they always mix them up. I made this card for a friend of mine who just had surgery, they love the beach and surfing so I used Bo Bunny's new line to create it:

Ingredients:

Paper: Bo Bunny Paradise Locals line
Ink: Tim Holtz distress chipped sapphire

The next card I did today was for the Cards Blog challenge. The challenge was to make a card using Birds excluding Owls.

Ingredients:
Paper: Kraft cardstock
Stamps: Unity Stamp Co. & Jillybean Soup
Accessories: PTI buttons & ribbon
Tech: Heat Embossing

Hope you enjoyed my lil cards. And I hope you had a nice weekend! We didnt do too much, just didnt feel up to it. We went to a friends to make them dinner (she just had surgery) so that was nice and today we did necessary cleaning and yard work. And tonight I enjoyed hanging out at the PTI forum and FB fan page for the release party... it was fun but I spent too much money LOL

I also went to BIG LOTS and made out! If you have a nice Big Lots where you are, get there soon. I got 11 Hampton Arts acrylic stamp sets, 3 sets of Thickers, and 3 sets of Basic Grey chipboard all for a buck each! It was a steal!! The stamp sets and chipboard are so nice! I was lucky to find so much.

Have a wonderful week!! Im bummed the weekends over. Back to work!
