A Flower a Day Keeps the Doctor Away! Right?

Isn't that how it goes? LOL Well I just love this stamp so much that I decided I would make a bunch of them and put them in this cute tin pail from Target ($1 how can you beat that?). I've been wanting to do some altered art ... I sometimes need a break from cards, cards and more cards LOL!! And I wanted some flowers in my room that would last more than 3 days :D ... pretty dont you think?

Recipe:
Paper: Gina K Pure Luxury
Stamps: Hero Arts Engraved Daisy, Antique Engravings & My Cute Stamps
Ink: Copic Markers, Memento
Accessories: PTI ribbon, Pearls, Tin from Target

Also I made a boo-boo, I missed seeing the 'ORANGE' theme from Playdate cafe, so I switched out the flower for an orange one and im resubmitting my card. :P All fixed! lol

Card recipe:
Paper: PTI black & white
Stamps: Hero Arts CG142 Engraved Daisy,
Sentiment from PTI button bits
Ink: Copic Markers, Memento
Accessories: May Arts ribbon, Bo Bunny rhinestones, Spellbinders Nestibilities

Also to let you know we are almost to 100 followers, wow. Im so grateful for all your comments and love you leave here. It just makes my day. If you stop in, I would love for you to leave a comment. As soon as we hit 100 I will be drawing from 1-100 for another great prize package. After 100+ followers I have decided to start drawing randomly from comments that are left on my blog, I saw that idea on Jennifer McGuire ink and I thought what a great idea. :)

I will be back Wednesday with the second Whimsy Haven Hop! Make sure to check out my newest challenge, theres a great prize pack from my sponsor, MAY ARTS, you could win LOTS of ribbon!! How great is that?

Have a wonderful day! :)

Don't you just love Daisy's? I do!

I love spring so much, all the beautiful flowers. And one of my favorite flowers are Daisys. They come in such a variety of colours. Thats why I love this stamp from Hero Arts. Its called Engraved Daisy. Its so cute. I used it here for the Playdate Cafe challenge 25. The challenge is to make a black and white card with a splash of colour. Wherever I go flowers always remind me of that splash of colour. Like when we took our trip to Disneyland, everywhere on the hillsides are Poppys. A splash of orange on all the hillsides, it was so beautiful. Usually a purple Daisy has a darker purple center, but there are some with an orange center... so heres mine.

Card recipe:
Paper: PTI black & white
Stamps: Hero Arts CG142 Engraved Daisy, Sentiment from PTI button bits
Ink: Copic Markers, Memento
Accessories: May Arts ribbon, Bo Bunny rhinestones, Spellbinders Nestibilities

Weekend is over BOO! Went by too fast!
Be sure to check out my new challenge... great prize for the winner! :)
Have a great week!

Cant wait to do the next one... if you dont already participate you should check out the Bo Bunny blog and join in!

Here is a card I did for the
Playdate Cafe. I love color challenges, thats the best part to me about paper-crafting is color. I love color. My favorite colors are pink, teal and brown and I love bright cheerful color combos so it was fun to break away from my usual bright color palette and do a nice vintage color challenge.

Heres the color inspiration:

And heres my card, I did 2 versions. One with the twine ribbon and one without. Which do you like best? I couldn't decide so I decided to post both. :)

Ingredients:
Paper: Stampin Up, Papertrey Ink and DCWV Vintage Stack
Stamps: Tim Holtz Lost and Found
Other: Nestabilities labels 8, Pearls

If you have room could you please say a lil prayer for my lil guy. We love him so much.

Announcement, Giveaway and Some News

Happy Thursday all, hope your day was great! Been a little crazy around here, some family issues but I think all will cool down this weekend I hope.

I decided I love doing this, I love printing them for myself so I thought I would share them with you. So a lil announcement, I opened a new blog called SAY IT WITH SENTIMENTS! I will have sentiments and quotes you can print out for your cards or layouts. Just something I do for my cards and thought I would share my work. All is FREE and you can use them for whatever you like. Each font I have used is a freeware font, all from dafont.com. I hope this will help you with your papercrafting. If you have any suggestions for sayings or quotes, leave a comment on the blog. You can see the new blog with some new freebies already up HERE and all the graphics on the fonts that I use are webdings or ones I draw, I used to have a graphics website so I will be incorporating some of my old work.

I also made the FAB 4 on the Playdate Cafe, YAY! I love their challenges and encourage you to check them out if you already havent! The link is on the left <-- over there! :)

I've been working on a swap gift for a friend, so been busy with that too. Wish I could post pictures, it came out so cute but I will wait till she receives it.
