I am using my set I designed for The Craft's Meow - Happy Owlentines Day. The Patterned Papers are My Minds Eye - Love Me. The twine is from The Twinery.

My next card I am entering for this weeks Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger challenge - Fancy Schmancy. And I am also entering this for the Paper Smooches March Guest Designer search.

For this card I used the Chubby Chums set (one of my favs), I just LOVE the owl in this set. The twine is from The Twinery.

My next card I made for my husband for Valentine's Day. (:

The owls on the swing and sentiment are from my set I designed for The Craft's Meow - Happy Owlentines Day. The polariod is Lawn Fawn Say Cheese. The background is Hero Arts Chevron bg stamp. I colored the images with Copics and stamped the background with Jenni Bowlin ink. The adorable washi tape is from Chickie Doodle Etsy shop.

Hearts in a jar card:

I am entering this card in the Lilly Pad Simon Says Stamp challenge - Patterned Paper.

For this card I used the jar set from PTI. The patterned paper is Crate Paper - Paper Hearts. The heart punch is Fiskars That's Amore. And the sentiment is from The Craft's Meow All You Need is Love.

Here's a card I did at the Lawn Fawn booth at CHA using all their upcoming stamps and patterned paper. I just LOVE all the PP they will be releasing soon and the stamps! You will LOVE them too!

You Make Me Smile!

Hi everyone! Hope your week is going great! Im so glad its almost the weekend again! Getting close! I have so much to do this weekend before our trip Memorial Day weekend. Im ready for the beach! It's going to be fun!


Lately I have been seeing a trend - with Chevron pattern. Im sure you have seen it all over the place. I didn't have any stamps or patterned paper that was Chevron, so I made my own. It was fun and easy to do!

I used my favorite PTI color - Hawaiian Shores. And I used a sentiment from the set Hello Friend by Lawn Fawn, love this set. I cut my cardstock in 1/2" strips, then cut the strip into 1.5" pieces. Then I stacked the pieces together and cut them at an angle and adhered them to the cardstock. Easy peasy and you can create any color chevron you want! Love it! And I created this for the Moxie Fab World Chevron Challenge!

Also just want to share this card I did for St. Patrick's Day that was featured on CARDS CREATE blog today ... everyone loved my other shamrock twine card so I thought I would make another one and they are so fun to make!! 

On this one I made 2 small shamrocks using Peapod Twine from The Twinery! I just love the green! I used Glossy accents to make the shape of the shamrock and to glue the twine. I stamped the Raindrop Stamp from Hero Arts and stitched the white cardstock to it. Then I made a sentiment using Harold's ABC's from Lawn Fawn.

My previous card I did above, Oceans of Love, was featured on the Hero Arts Social Club today!!

Twine-a-licious!

Hello there friends! Hope your week is going well!!

I miss posting my own creations on here as I haven't been doing much of that lately. So much behind the scenes going on. I have been really swamped with family stuff, DT work, Challenge stuff, PC, CARDS and Cardmaker Submissions and my job. But good things are to come and I cant wait to share with you!

Right now I would like to share with you a couple of cards I did tonight playing around with my Twine from The Twinery. I love the twine ... and all the variety of colors are awesome!! Isn't the twine gorgeous? Be sure to check out all the twine over at The Twinery!

First one I did is using the twine to make the main image. Here I used the Peapod twine to make a Shamrock. I just freehanded it with some Glossy Accents to make the shape to stick the twine to. I never cut the twine, just used the beginning to the end, just keep turning and overlapping the twine. For the sentiment, I made it myself using Harold's ABC from Lawn Fawn. And finished it off adding more of the Peapod twine to my button. Our family is part Irish and I just LOVE shamrocks, green and March!

Next card I did is for the new Hero Arts challenge - Birthdays and Stamped Envelopes. So on this card I used the Hero Arts Envelop Pattern stamp for my yellow background, it makes such a cute background as well as a great liner for an envelope using the HA Envelope Line Templete, I just ordered one along with the HA Envelop Templete. For my images I used the HA Happy Day Animals, love this set ... its so cute. To finish it off I framed it with the Peapod twine from The Twinery (I love framing scenes with my twine), stamped my sentiment and added a button with more Peapod twine and added a Cloud using my MFT flat bottom cloud die and grass die. I LOVE dies and MFT has the best and lots of them!

Cards, cards and more cards!

Hi all! Hope you had a great weekend! Im so sad its over but so glad that this weekend is a 3 day weekend! YAY! And its my daughters 10th birthday too this weekend (19th) ... we are going to Universal Studios. Gonna have some fun!!


Been a bz weekend for us, doing chores and lots of projects im working on.
I plan on a total redo of my craft studio in a couple months in the spring I am hoping. Gonna replace the carpet and repaint and redo the whole closet for storage. So exciting! Got any good studio pictures to share? Want some ideas! :)


Well, without further adieu ... here are some cards I have been working on.

I did this card for the current Lawnscapings challenge #3 - All About Love and for the current Embellish Chalenge - Color Trends with Hearts. I used the seal from Critters in the Snow set and made the sentiment with Jessie's ABC's set all from Lawn Fawn.

This card is for the current Hero Arts contest - Love & Friendship. Here I used the Oceans of Joy Hero Arts set, along with some PTI cloud dies and MFT cloud and wave dies. Colored with Copics.

This card is for the current Moxie Fab challenge - Appearance of Cameos. Stamps used are from Wilson Designs Simply Silhouettes set.

Missing the sunshine

Hi all! Hope you are enjoying your Friday-eve! :)
Im sooo ready for the weekend!!


Yesterday was so beautiful here, the sun was out all day and I got to feel the warm sun on my face... then today I wake up to cold and fog! Bummer! I miss the sunshine! I've got the winter blues. But I hope to get out of my funk soon, im so ready for spring!


Ive also been super busy getting ready for CHA. Anyone going? Hope to see some of you there!
And ive been busy planning our daughters birthday trip, her birthday is next month and she will be 10. Shes crossing over into the double digits! eek! Before I know it she will be a teen!

Well enough babbling on .. lol .. just want to share with you some cards I have done lately in between getting ready for CHA and everything else going on :)

These are 2 cards I did for the current Hero Arts contest - inspired by the 2011 HA Catalog. I love this Magical Flower stamp, its so pretty and great just by itself as I used it on the second card.

And heres a card I did using the cute Lawn Fawn set called My Silly Valentine. Love this set! Its so cute! I call this card 'The Fruit of Love' ... :)
